Full-time Artist

Using crisp, clear, impressionistic strokes, Ricky’s art will captivate you.  With emphasis on color and suggesting strong patterns of light and shade he draws you into a visual feast and story line.  When seeing his landscapes and portrait/figurative art you will know why people get excited and have to own one of their own.

 

He paints almost exclusively in water media but switches to any medium the subject calls for.  People are fast finding his art to be an investment for the future. Ricky gives God the glory for any art abilities he has.  Over the years he has furthered his education by training with some of the top award winning artist, such as:  Stephen Quiller, Tony Couch, Don Andrews, Tony van Hasselt, Tom Francesconi, Ratindra Das, and studied at K.C. Art Institute.

 

His representation has been by Art Fairs and Galleries and now sells his art through the internet and represented by CAL Gallery.  Ricky participates in National juried shows and has coordinated workshops for top National Artists, but is in the process of doing his own workshops.  If interested in having Ricky just contact him by email. 

 

He is a member of Prairie Fire Art Guild, a juried member of ‘The Best of Missouri Hands’, a member of American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, Missouri Watercolor Society, Columbia Art League, and a former member of the board for Transparent Watercolor Society of America as well as a Lifetime member.
